It’s the nation’s preeminent golf tournament and also the season-ending flagship event of the Asian Tour, the Indonesian Masters 2018. Excitingly, this year’s Indonesian Masters will present two of golf’s superstars: Justin Rose (World No. 1) and Henrik Stenson (World No. 28). Rose is returning to Indonesia for the second time to defend the title he won last year with an eight-shot victory. Never in history, as far as I’m aware, has the World No. 1 played in a tournament held in Indonesia. I am sure that the Indonesian Masters 2018 will be another thrilling event and I’m looking forward to watching our national players compete in this tournament where the highest level of skills are required to survive. So, to all of our loyal readers, please do join us at Royale Jakarta Golf Club for the Indonesian Masters on 13 to 16 December. There is no entry fee, so just come on down to witness world-class golf, enjoy the tournament atmosphere, and of course, have some great food!In addition to the Indonesian Masters, we have heaps of other interesting articles in this edition. We’ve got a feature on Brooks Koepka who has risen up to be one of the world’s most elite players, along with articles on Danny Willett and Lexi Thompson who have both made a return to the winner’s circle. Since this edition comes at the end of 2018, I would like to welcome 2019 and wish everyone a happy new year. I hope you all have a great holiday season!OB Golf & Lifestyle Magazine is published bi-monthly by PT Visi Prima Golf.
