We will learn:- to listen to a folktale,- to read a folktale for myself,- to read out a folktale to other people, and- to get a moral lesson from a folktale.• Ajaklah peserta didik memperhatikan gambar tersebut sehingga teringat dengan cerita yang sangat terkenal, yaitu Sangkuriang. Misalnya,- Do you know the name of the mountain that looks like a boat here? ... [tunggu sampai peserta didik menjawab] Yes, it is Mount Tangkuban Perahu.PENGANTAR Bahasa Inggris / Think Globally Act Locally 135- Why is it called Tangkuban Perahu? ... [tunggu sampai peserta didik menjawab] Yes, because it looks like a boat, but it is upside down.- Have you heard of the story of Sangkuriang and his boat? Does anybody know the story? - Here, you are going to listen, to write, to read for others the story of Sangkuriang. Can you say that again in English, please?’ How do you say that in English? ’Yes, Ma’am, I (kalau belum dapat ditunggu sampai keluar pernyataannya) know.’ - Jika ada anak berkata ’Ya Pak, saya pernah baca.’ Katakan lagi ’In English, please! How do you say that in English?’ ’Yes, I read it.’• Setelah itu guru dapat langsung menyebutkan tujuan pembelajaran dalam bab ini. Misalnya,- Look, everybody. It is written here that we are going to learn to ... (peserta didik diminta untuk membaca bersama guru tujuan yang tertera di halaman tersebut) ... to listen to a folktale, … to read …, to read … a folktale.- What for? Why do we read folktales? ... [tunggu sampai peserta didik menjawab] Yes, we like reading them. We enjoy listening to them.- What else? Can we learn something from folktales? ... [tunggu sampai peserta didik menjawab] Yes, we learn to be a good person. Folktales teach us to respect our parents. They tell us to always tell the truth, not to lie. What else? - Dan sebagainya.136 Buku Guru / Kelas IX SMP/MTsPeta Kegiatan PembelajaranTahapNo.Jenis KegiatanLSRWKunci JawabanMengamati dan Menanya1Menyimak cerita yang dibacakan guru dan kemudian menyalin di buku masing-masing99992Membahas isi cerita9999Mengumpul-kan informasi3Saling membacakan cerita di kelompok masing-masing9994Menangkap isi cerita dalam rangkuman dengan mengisikan kata-kata kunci999995Menyusun makna cerita secara runtut per paragraf999996Refl eksiMengasosiasi7Menyimak guru membaca cerita dari Vietnam998Saling membacakan cerita di kelompok masing-masing9999Mengidentifi kasi bagian dari cerita yang memperkenalkan tokoh-tokoh dalam cerita (orientasi)9999910Mengidentifi kasi bagian dari cerita di mana tokoh-tokoh utama dalam cerita menghadapi masalah (komplikasi)99999 Bahasa Inggris / Think Globally Act Locally 137TahapNo.Jenis KegiatanLSRWKunci Jawaban11Mengidentifi kasi bagian dari cerita yang memuat penyelesaian masalah (solusi)99999Mengomuni-kasikan12Refl eksi99Teknik Membacakan Cerita1.
